Theme: The Best Reaction on the Youth Jam 11 event
(Open for Non Sony Camera also. All kind of camera are welcome to join.)
Term & Condition:
1. The photography contest is open to all Malaysian citizens and foreign visitors.
2. Each participant is required to pay a registration fee of RM10.
(Those who paid RM15, we will refund RM5)
3. All photographs must be taken within Youth Jam 11 Event locality only.
4. Participants must bring their own camera and equipment’s.
5. Penang Youths will not held responsible for any unforeseen circumstances or accidents, which occur, inside the locality.
6. Participants can send in five entry; and will only win one (1) prize or place.
7. Each entry must be accompanied by the date of the image was taken and also a tagline for the photograph.
8. No digital super imposition is allowed. Composite photographs or any form of digital manipulations will not be accepted. Only minor image touch-ups such as cropping, adjustment of brightness and colors as well as softening or sharpening of the image are allowed.
9. Images submitted to the submitted booth that given by the organizer on the event. Photo will be transfer to the laptop and will be judge on TV.
10. All photographs submitted must be originally produced and must have not been sold or granted permission to use to any other party. The copyright and any other rights (including the ownership, and right to use and display) of all images submitted shall remain with the Youth Jam 11 (Penang Youths) after submission regardless of winning or not winning in the competition.
11. Assessment of the photograph will be based on technical quality, composition and originality and also tagline.
12. The submissions will be judged on 5th June 2011 and it will be judged by the Sponsor, Organizer & Committee Members and all decisions made are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
13. Winners will be announced on the prize-giving day on 5th June 2011. All winners will be invited to the Prize Giving Ceremony which is at 5th June 2011 at night. Youth Jam 11 reserves the right to substitute the prizes with equivalent value.
14. Youth Jam 11 will not be held liable in the event of loss, personal injury, or death as a result of participation in the competition.
15. The starting date is on 4th June 2011 at 10am sharp and closing date for these submissions is on 5th June 2011 at 5pm sharp Submission after the stated date will not be entertained.
By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and regulations and the decisions by Youth Jam 11 and waive any right to claim ambiguity in this contest rules. Photography gallery viewing will be available at Penang Youths Website from 20th June 2011.
